Jan Bannister

So I’m Jan Bannister the presumptuous chap writing this blog.

My blog is quite new and I started it because I’ve been reading a number of great blogs including: Coding Horror, Haacked, O’Reilly Radar, Lazycoder and TechCrunch and I wanted to ‘join the conversation’.

But mainly this blog is for me. I’ve been slowly learning lessons about coding, software, development and users (pretty much in that order). There are definitely more to come and I hope that by writing this blog I can learn my upcoming lessons better and more quickly.

Having an original thought is easy, checking it’s original, placing it in context and laying it out so someone else can see it’s value is the tough bit. Not to mention the public and on-the-record nature of the web which should temper my love of bold assertions and sweeping generalizations.

So; enjoy, I hope I will 🙂

    Hi Jan,

I see you left a comment a long time ago on a ScottGu post about Linq, asking how to handle multiple result sets from one stored proc. Did you ever figure this out? Email or reply on this thread if you can.
